River Otter offering
This program is designed for young children 5 years and up and their caregivers to engage together in an outdoor family experience that fosters a personal relationship with nature.
Children and their caregivers are introduced to the concept of forest therapy, giving children and their families some time together sharing a bonding experience away from phones, video games, and busy schedules.
The program’s guided activities are child-friendly, while still being engaging for adults. It offers a balance between the more contemplative traditional forest therapy programs for adult audiences, and an enthusiasm for play in nature that children enjoy.
