Focusing on the senses, and mindfulness, forest walks offer mental and physical wellness while reconnecting with nature. A unique way to experience springtime at Longue Vue! Swamp Lotus is again partnering with the Girl Scouts of Southeast Louisiana to offer a special forest walk for troops interested in working on badges related to Outdoors: Environmental Stewardship, Naturalist, and Trail Adventure. Walk is open to Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors. Saturday, April 5, 10:00 - 11:30 am at Audubon Louisiana Nature Center. Cost is $25 per scout, $12 per non-scout siblings.
